N2 - The objectives of this project were to enable commercialization of a patent-pending technology for unprecedented dishwasher energy savings and non-energy consumer benefits. Specific objectives were to (1) provide customer-requested features of more thorough drying, (2) reduce kitchen humidity load (75% target reduction in water vapor released by the dishwasher), (3) introduce the lowest energy consumption domestic dishwasher on the market with 30% less energy consumption than that of the current best in market, and (4) maintain high cleaning performance.
