Abstract
The yields of known isomers of hafnium and lutetium isotopes for the reactions 40 Ar +natW, 84 Kr + natW and 136 Xe + natW were measured using chemical separation procedures in combination with ϒ-ray spectroscopy. The search for new isomers of hafnium and lutetium with T1/2 > 2 min was not successful.
