Abstract

This work is devoted to the investigation of the settling process and electric conductivity in binary aqueous colloidal suspensions of graphite and kaolin. The combination of conductometric and gravimetric methods allows to analyze kinetics of both deposit formation and reorganization. Dependences of the characteristic times of mass and conductivity kinetic curves of settling versus pH and surfactant concentration are discussed.
