Abstract
Decomposition due to the annealing of the Al88Ge12 (at.%) supersaturated solid solution prepared by thermobaric treatment was studied by small-angle neutron scattering and X-ray diffraction. Germanium atoms precipitated from the solution formed balls of nanoscale sizes. The dependences of the balls' radius on the annealing temperature and time were studied.
