    Abstract

    In the past decade, sensor networks have become an active area of research for computer scientists and network engineers due to their wide usage in both military and civilian applications [1]. Ÿe increasing sophistication of multi-sensor systems for state estimation, region surveillance as well as target detection and tracking has generated a great deal of interest in the development of new computational structures and networking paradigms [2].
