Abstract

The ferroelectric domain structure of SrBi₂Nb₂O₉ epitaxial thin films with well-defined crystallography and negligible ferroelastic distortion was discussed. Electron microscopy revealed ferroelectric domains with irregular shape and curves. It was found that the out-of-phase boundary defects were weakly correlated with 90° ferroelectric domain structure.
