Abstract

The study was presented on the failure of nitrogen cluster states (CS) to emerge into the bandgap of GaAsN. It was found that the nitrogen CS responded to the application of pressure in two different ways. The highly localized deep CS emerged in the gap while the shallow CS hybridized strongly with the conduction band.
