Abstract

Dynamics is the key to the understanding of glassy transitions. A detailed analysis of s(Q, t) in the spin glass system Au0.86Fe0.14 shows that at Tg the autocorrelation function decays as t-x, with x ∼ 0.12. Above Tg, s(Q, t) is then described by the form proposed by Ogielski: t-x exp(-(t/τ0)β). These results agree with predictions of large scale numerical simulations and are a direct confirmation of dynamic scaling in spin glasses.
