Abstract

The magnetoferroelectricity in BiMnO3 was analyzed. Investigations on polycrystalline samples prepared at high pressures as well as on thin films prepared by nebulized spray pyrolysis were done for this purpose. BiMnO3 was found to be ferromagnetic with a Tc of 105K and ferroelectric with a curie temperature of around 450K.
