Abstract

An overview is given on the evaluation of two 300 MWe modular PbBi cooled reactor system concepts that can be field assembled from components shipped on standard rail cars or on trucks. Results from neutronics calculations are outlined, including, power distributions, reactivity coefficients, and fuel depletion. The results from heat transfer calculations including temperatures and flow rates at various locations in the primary and secondary systems are detailed.
