Abstract

We are grateful to readers who have pointed out that there are shorter Y···Y distances in bimetallic complexes involving only Y(III); for leading references see refs 1−3. Statements regarding the 3.3992(6) and 3.4022(7) Å Y···Y distances in our complex should be altered to involve Y(II) systems as described below. Page 10730. The statement in the Abstract on Y···Y distances should be amended to read as follows: “The 3.3992(6) and 3.4022(7) Å Y···Y distances between the equivalent metal centers within two crystallographically independent complexes are the shortest Y···Y distances observed to date for mixed valent bimetallic yttrium complexes.” Page 10732. In the paragraph beginning “The binding mode of the CpAn ligand in 4...”, the last sentence should be amended to read as follows: “The Y···Y distances in 4 are the shortest Y···Y distances in mixed valent bimetallic yttrium complexes, to our knowledge.”
