Equivalent Circuit for Inverter fed Induction Motor

Abstract

This paper describes a method to determine the instantaneous input current, output power, input power factor and efficiency of sine PWM inverter fed induction motor using equivalent circuit. This method can be used for inverter fed induction motor with any PWM technique. The possible variation in all the parameters of induction motor equivalent circuit is also investigated and is compared with experimental results.
