Abstract
Ferromagnetic thin films of Mn5Ge3 were grown epitaxially on Ge(111) with solid phase epitaxy. Physical property measurements and DFT calculations revealed a picture of a metallic Stoner ferromagnet with a spin structure that is likely noncollinear.
