Abstract

Cyber Defense Competitions are widely known throughout collegiate institutions. The Department of Energy and Argonne National Laboratory set out to develop a more extensive educational competition that would build up cyber workforce-development for the Energy Sector. Utilizing hands-on training, the Department of Energy and the national laboratories seek to increase the effectiveness and interest in cybersecurity careers for the Energy Sector.
