Disorder-robust nonlinear light generation in topological nanostructures

Abstract

We observe topologically nontrivial nonlinear edge states of light in zigzag arrays of silicon nanoparticles. We image the edge states via the third-harmonic generation and demonstrate their robustness against disorder and structural perturbations.
