Abstract

The multiple scattering of cosmic ray muons was used to detect high-Z objects. The detection of high-Z material hidden inside large volume of ordinary cargo is essential due to the danger associated with illegal transport of uranium and heavier elements. The results show that the muon radiography of relatively large objects could be performed in a reasonably short time using this method.
