Abstract
To better understand agricultural equipment control, a simple electrohydraulic draft control system was constructed and tested. A procedure for mathematically modeling this electrohydraulic control system was investigated. Controller tuning techniques were utilized to theoretically estimate proportional controller gains. The effect of varying the controller gain was investigated for a constructed draft control system response. The theoretical controller gains produced conservative responses in actual testing.
