Abstract
In the present study, decadal climate prediction experiments designed by CMIP5 were conducted by FGOALS-g2 and FGOALS-s2. The nudging-based assimilation scheme and Incremental Analysis Updates (IAU) technique were used to initialize FGOALS-g2 and FGOALS-s2, respectively, and the hindcast skills of both models were preliminarily evaluated.
