Abstract
Neutron inelastic scattering experiments on the near-percolating Hesisenberg antiferromagnet, RbMn0.39Mg0.61F3, were performed using a high energy-resolution spectrometer (15 μeV). The results reveal a crossover from magnon excitations at small wave-vectors to over-damped fracton excitations at large wave-vectors. This evinces experimentally that the atomic connectivity in an infinite percolating network looks homogeneous at wave-vectors smaller than a crossover wave-vector, as predicted by the theory.
