Abstract

The authors would like to remove any mention of IMO in the lead paragraph. Specifically, a more suitable wording would be to change the leading sentences: “Since the International Maritime Organization (IMO) low-sulfur ruling in 2020, residual fuel oils with reduced sulfur contents have been available [2]. The most common of these is very low sulfur fuel oil (VLSFO) which has a nominal sulfur content of 0.5 wt% and meets the IMO specifications. (Other, lower sulfur grades are also available.).” to “Since 2020, residual fuel oils with reduced sulfur contents have been available [2]. The most common of these is very low sulfur fuel oil (VLSFO) which has a nominal sulfur content of 0.5 wt%. (Other, lower sulfur grades are also available.).”.
