Abstract

The authors learned that Tables 3 and 4 of the published paper do not contain all information that would allow the readers to reproduce the fitting trends shown in Figures 6 and 8. Please use corrected tables, shown below. They differ from the published version only in their last line, which now provide analytical expressions for m(T). This parameter is defined in eq. (6) of the published paper. [Table presented] [Table presented] The oxidation rates of each graphite grade at particular values of T, PH2O and PH2 can be calculated by plugging the parametrized expressions for k1, k2, k3, and m(T) from corrected Tables 3 and 4 in the rate equation (8’), shown below. [Formula presented] This simpler rate equation should be used in lieu of eq. (8) from the published paper. The authors apologize to readers for these errors.
