Abstract

This paper focuses on the development of feasible control strategies for three-phase two-stage grid-connected cascaded photovoltaic (PV) system. Two types of control strategies, i.e. distributed control and centralized control, are presented and analyzed in terms of design complexity, application and realization, and power control performance. Comprehensive active and reactive power distribution controls are implemented in the proposed control strategies. Their operation performances are compared and validated with simulation and experimental results.
