Colossal photon bunching driven by phonon recombination dynamics

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

We report photon bunching g(2)(0) ≈ 49 due to phonon sidebands in spectrally filtered cathodoluminescence from NV centers in diamond. The result is consistent with fast, phonon-mediated recombination dynamics, and supported by a stochastic model.
