Collisional ionization of atomic cesium by UF6 and WF6

Abstract

Collisional ionization of Cs by UF6 and WF6 has been studied in crossed-beam geometry. Product UF-6 and WF-6 contain ≈3 eV of internal excitation energy even at the lowest Cs laboratory impact energy of 7 eV.
