Abstract

Sub-shot-noise microcantilever displacement sensitivity achieved with multispatial- mode squeezed light requires unprecedented spatial control of the quantum-correlated modes. We demonstrate a simple approach to map these modes, enabling sub-shot noise microcantilever displacement measurements.
