Abstract

This paper presents the development of an indigenous cloud-based battery test bed designed to facilitate cell testing across various operating conditions, user-defined test protocols, and climatic scenarios within a laboratory environment. Integrating with a cloud platform allows remote operation of the test bed from anywhere globally, providing users with seamless data monitoring and visualization capabilities. An advanced test bed controller has been developed to safeguard and execute multiple functions, such as data acquisition, charge-discharge control, and chamber temperature regulation, acting as a crucial link between the test bed and the cloud platform. Validation of the developed test bed involved conducting standard cyclic testing experiments and critical drive cycle experiments.
