Abstract
For the Fe(III) /Y zeolites with various content of Fe(III), the state of Fe(III), reductivity, acidity and the catalytic performance for the conversion of toluene were studied by XPS, MÖssbauer spectra, TPR, NH3-TPD, Py-IR and the pulse microreactor methods. The results show that the state of Fe(III) on Fe(III) /Y zeolites exists in the form of octahedra of six-coordination and the ultrafine particles of Fe(III) are formed. Under the condition of H2 flowing, the Fe (0) phase appears obviously for the Fe(III)/Y with high content of Fe(III). According to the characteristic results described above, the reason that caused the difference in reaction performance of toluene conversion for the Fe (III) /Y samples with different content of Fe(III) was discussed.
