Abstract

The Bioenergy Knowledge Discovery Framework (KDF) is being established at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in light of the biofuel infrastructure. The Bioenergy KDF provides an integrated decision support tool and collaborative platform to support the country's biofuel infrastructure. The Bioenergy KDF will provide functionality to share, visualize, map, model, and analyze geospatial and non-geospatial data from multiple repositories. The functionality of the Bioenergy KDF is being designed to address the needs of different stakeholders, which play a critical role in achieving the nation's biofuel based renewable energy objectives. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the 2011 AIChE Spring Meeting & 7th Global Congress on Process Safety (Chicago, IL 3/13-17/2011).
