Abstract

The dielectric and crystallographic properties of ceramic Ba₈ZnTa₆O₂₄ were investigated. The crystal structure of the compound was also examined. It was found that the ceramic material has excellent dielectric properties, with a high unloaded quality factor Q_u= 20 800 at 3.28 GHz.
