Abstract
The precise mechanism of reinforcement of filled rubber is not well understood. In the present study, we have performed two-dimensional Ultra Small-Angle X-ray Scattering (2D-USAXS) measurements of rubber filled with carbon black. The measured 2D-USAXS images under elongation showed anisotropic scattering patterns which originate from the anisotropic structure of aggregates.
