Abstract

It was for the first time when viscous properties of dusty plasma liquid was experimentally investigated along with the dependencies of them on background pressure and the value of shear tension applied to the liquid. The viscosity of dusty plasma liquid was found to increase with background gas pressure and decrease with external tension. It is hypothesized that the non-newtonian behaviour of dusty plasma liquid is explained by small attraction between macroparticles. Also the semi empirical criterion of Navier-Stocks equation applicability for dusty plasma liquid description.
