    Abstract

An interleaved, reduced component count dc/dc converter is proposed for power management in fuel cell powered vehicles with a multi-voltage electric net. The converter is based on a simplified topology and can handle more power with less ripple current therefore reducing the capacitor requirements, making it more suited for fuel cell powered vehicles in the near future. A prototype rated at 4.3 kW was built and tested to verify the proposed topology.
