Abstract

We observed quasi-monoenergetic electron beams with energy up to 300 MeV from the laser wakefield. The resultant electron beams have been used to perform efficiently gamma-neutron activation of ¹²C and ⁶³Cu and photo-fission of ²³⁸U.
