Abstract
The structure of disordered zeolites cannot be solved or refined by commonly used crystallographic methods. Here we used the pair distribution function (PDF) of a good quality sample to attempt to refine the structure of the polytypes of zeolite Beta. By using the PDF method to refine the structure of polytype B we were able to find a structural model that is consistent with the experimental distribution of distances in the sample and typical all silica zeolite dimensions.
