Abstract
The cation order in family of perovskites with stoichiometry A(Li 1/3(Na,Ta) 2/3)O 3 was investigated. These compounds were sintered to high density at 1350°C having dielectric constant in range 25-30, microwave quality as high as 26000 and negative temperature coefficient of resonant frequency. The cation order in (Ca 2/3La 1/3)(Li 1/3Ta 2/3)O 3 having 1:1 ordered structure gave no observation of 1:2 polymorph. The comparison of large charge difference between ions involved in microwave perovskites to other 1:2 ordered microwave perovskites reflected higher stability of order which was stable to decomposing/melting temperature.
