Development of Power Electronics and Electric Motor Technology: High Temperature

    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

The purpose of this Cooperative Research and Development Agreement between UT-Battelle, LLC (the?Contractor?) and Delphi Automotive Systems LLC (the?Participant?) is to study the impacts of using Silicon Carbide (SiC) power devices in a high temperature inverter design. Device characterization and modeling will be conducted along with circuit simulations to determine the proposed design?s adherence to the targets set forth in the Department of Energy solicitation..
