Computational nuclear structure and reactions

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

We will develop the computational algorithms necessary to pursue the coupled-cluster methodology in nuclear physics. Thecomputational requirements for a full implementation require a close collaboration between domain-specific computational scientistsfrom nuclear physics and computer/computational scientists with competencies in massively parallel algorithm building. We willspecifically target this area of research to bring our current coupled-cluster technology to petascale platforms.
