Description
The DOE Office of Science, Office of Biological and Environmental Research (BER), poplar genome Chief Scientist is an active scientist with a strong background in poplar genomics and related fields. The Chief Scientist will regularly recommend to the BER Program Manager for poplar genomics (currently Dr. J. S. Amthor) research topics and activities that might be addressed by the BER to meet its mission and goals, along with specific science questions that would be answered.
