Description

The RAIS offers a site-specific background dataset for the Oak Ridge Reservation. The Oak Ridge Background Values (https://rais.ornl.gov/tools/orr_background.html)are from a Background Soil Characterization Project done at ORR in 1993. The purpose of the project was to evaluate the potential human health concerns from naturally occurring background constituents.
